Job description
We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant.
The role will require someone who has proven experience of providing administrative support to a busy team, be flexible, have excellent time management skills and be able to work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will be working across various projects therefore, they will need to be efficient, organised, with strong computer skills and a professional outlook.
You will be/have:
· Strong administration skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and great people skills are essential to this role.
· Comfortable taking ownership of processes and confident in your ability to introduce new ideas, methods or processes.
· A proactive approach, lots of initiative and a flair for applying logic and creativity to problem solving are all important too.
· So are excellent customer service and relationship building skills and the ability to drive communication to ensure timely delivery.
· Helpful, organised and hard-working.
· Able to communicate very well, face to face, on video call and on the phone.
· Work with people from across the whole organisation and will often be the first point of contact.
· Supporting meetings and taking minutes.
· Experienced on Microsoft Office 365 and its applications.
· Provide day to day administration for the team, arranging meetings, diary management, and organising other meetings and events as required.
· To develop and maintain effective working relationships across the teams.
· To ensure that all assigned tasks are completed to a high standard.
· To support all general telephone, email and written enquires are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
· To undertake electronic and paper filing and maintaining filing systems appropriately
· To be responsible for the general administration and upkeep of our website
· To undertake any other reasonable tasks as could be expected of an Administrative Assistant.
· Most of all you will be able to get on very well with a wide range of busy people and work in a self-sufficient way but be responsive to the changing daily needs of our teams.
Understanding of ADHD would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
