The Huntington's Disease Association is a UK registered charity that supports people affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We provide information, advice and support to families, friends, and healthcare professionals.
We are looking for a Youth Worker to provide support to children and young people (age 8 – 25) with Huntington’s disease in their families and to enhance the development of our youth service. The role is 35 hours per week and is home based (Central England) but will involve extensive travel within South East England and occasional travel across England and Wales. The post holder must be a car owner with a clean UK licence.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and compassionate person who is dedicated and committed to the welfare of young people in families affected by Huntington’s disease. You will need to have skills in working with young people in complex situations and in working in partnership with other agencies to support them. The main responsibilities will be to provide a professional, confidential and supportive service to young people, their families and professionals.

The Huntington's Disease Association is looking for someone with the ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk, children and young people.
