Creative Writer
Are you a master of the written word? It’s time to showcase your exceptional writing skills and join an experienced team of talented writers and producers from across Canada.
Stingray - a leading global music, media and technology force - has an immediate opening for a full-time Creative Writer. This position aligns with the Atlantic Time zone and reports to the creative team based in Fredericton, but is open to candidates located anywhere Stingray Radio has an office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write commercials, sponsorships tags, specs and promos
- Create messaging for in-store, on-hold and digital offerings as required
- Develop unique, well-executed advertising campaigns
- Collaborate virtually or in-person on brainstorming sessions with Creative, Production, Sales and Clients
- Occasionally provide voice-over for production
- Utilize Wide Orbit Software to schedule commercials
- Employ workflow software to efficiently manage and complete projects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Broadcasting diploma or equivalent experience
- Exceptional writing abilities coupled with a knack for creative expression
- Solid understanding of brand awareness
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Thrives in high-pressure situations and consistently delivers results in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport and relationships
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates unwavering integrity and professionalism
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, embracing new technologies and tools with enthusiasm
