The role
As a Wireline Engineer you will supporting many exciting projects within our land site characterisation team, these could include Linear infrastructure projects, nuclear, transport, tunnelling, mining, and renewable projects. The Projects could be based onshore, nearshore, and marine environments. You will be working with a driven team of geotechnical engineers, geologists, geophysicists, drillers, and consultants collaborating and engaging with them to perform wireline logging data acquisitions, processing geophysical wireline data, and producing the field and final reports.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in a geoscience or Mechanical /Electrical engineering discipline and has a passion about geology and collating data and interpreting that data. Some one who can bring drive and energy and can engage enthusiastically and collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders. To be successful, you need to have communication skills that are second to none and the ability to communicate and report on the data received. A background in Geosciences, mechanical engineering or geo-technical investigation is a must for this role, ideally some experience in Wireline Geophysical Logging and data acquisition. This role will need you to travel to sites, so a full UK driving licence is needed, with the ability to drive a company van.
