The post of Welfare Rights Officer (Macmillan) is a varied and challenging role. This post has been funded by Macmillan cancer care to provide specialist welfare rights advice to residents of Derby who have received a cancer diagnosis.


The project has been running successfully for 7 years and has received extension funding on a number of occasions.


Our ideal candidate would be someone who wants to help vulnerable people. Experience of giving welfare rights advice is essential, as is experience of maintaining case management systems and meeting targets.
