Job Title: Warehouse Picker / Loader
Location: Gloucester GL2
Pay Rate: £10.40 starting salary
Contract: Temp to Perm
gap personnel Gloucester, operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for Warehouse Pickers and Loaders, for one of the growing and prosperous businesses delivering kitchen furniture and worktops.
As a Warehouse Picker and Loader you will play a key role in the day to day operations in ensuring that the continuous flow of stock is picked, loaded and packed ready for despatch. You will ensure that all picked and loaded goods are checked for any damages and defects.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Picking and packing of multiple items ( heavy lifting will be involved )
- Ensuing all items are correctly packed and labelled correctly, and they match relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Defects or damage reported directly to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Number of stock items checked as per delivery
- Stock replenishment and put away
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Successful candidate will be reliable individual, hard working and good team player. Will be dependable, flexible and well organised. Starting salary is £10.40, alongside with the internal training there will be pay rate increase, which will be over £11.00 for the same role.
Shift and working hours :
- Monday – Friday , 08:00am – 4:30pm
