Olympia London is a world-famous event venue and we’re going through exciting changes. We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Event Manager to join our team in London. Reporting to the Head of Conferences & Events, this is a great opportunity to deliver exceptional events to fulfil our guests’ dreams.

What you will be doing

Our Event Managers are the organiser’s main point of contact across a busy portfolio of events.They make sure that customer requirements are effectively specified and communicated both internally and to service partners and that these comply with all necessary regulations.

They work closely with event organisers, colleagues and service partners to deliver these services in a safe, efficient, timely and customer- focussed manner. This includes:


  • Attending briefings
  • Overseeing catering planning
  • Obtaining relevant authority approvals
  • Managing event budgets

This role presents an opportunity for an experienced event manager to rise to the challenge of delivering exceptional events in an ever-changing environment whilst the venue undergoes its transformation. Truly no two days are the same!

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and organisation skills. Previous event management experience within the exhibition industry is essential for this role, together with health and safety awareness to IOSH Managing Safely level and experience of licensing legislation.

The successful candidate must be willing to work flexibly to fit in with the events calendar at Olympia London. Due to the nature of the role the majority of working time will be on-site at the venue, with some opportunities for ad hoc remote working dependant on the show schedule.
