We are seeking a highly skilled, passionate in-house copywriter to join our fast-growing marketing and content team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience creating engaging and motivating content for a customer-focused business. You’ll lead on the creation of compelling, customer-centric copy for every part of our customer journey to help drive our customer growth plans (including advertising, landing pages, emails, blog and social channels). You’ll collaborate closely with product, UX, designer alongside marketing to ensure strong copy across the full customer journey.
Ripple is a revolutionary clean energy ownership platform. We enable people to part own large scale wind farms and solar parks, and have the green, low cost electricity they produce supplied to their homes via the grid. Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the creation of compelling, customer-centric copy and content for every part of the customer journey
- Collaborate with the marketing team to review content and copy performance across all paid channels to improve communications
- Plan, write, test and optimise content across all marketing channels including advertising, landing pages, emails, blog and social channels. Creating compelling and original content that appeals to our target audience
- Collaborate with product, UX, designer to ensure strong copy for content across all customer touch points. Turn complex explanations into clear, concise, compelling copy to improve customer sign ups
- Review and modify existing content across all channels to improve user engagement/customer experience
- Develop our tone of voice and copy guidelines, ensuring they are implemented across all touchpoints
- Develop educational content for our blogs and our member community. Recommend content and write articles. Work with the marketing team to develop a calendar of activity
- Approach copy with an SEO mindset to drive performance improvement
Desired experience/qualifications:
- Experience in creating content within a customer-focused business
- Excellent written skills, including impeccable spelling and grammar
- Proficient in writing with SEO in mind
- Knowledge of energy market desirable but not essential
Benefits
- Salary: £30,000-£42,000 (pro rata)
- Flexible location - home based or in our London or Ayr office or hybrid
- Flexible hours - the equivalent of between three and four days per week
