Job description
At WAGO we want to make real connection, we believe that #TogetherWeCan, so we put our people first. Truly valuing a diversity of skills and approaches to overcome obstacles together. For today and tomorrow.
For more than 60 years, we have combined engineering with innovation and, as a reliable partner, we strengthen our customers in all their challenges. The result is new products and holistic solutions that everyone can rely on.
The role of a Warehouse Operative is the bread and butter of our operation in WAGO UK. It’s down to the speedy work, accuracy, and efficiency of our Warehouse team that our customers get their products on time and exactly when they need them.
You’ll be picking stock, packing stock and managing the inventories in the warehouse. Stock-taking and auditing to make sure what we think we have in stock, actually is in stock, and reporting any discrepancies. You’ll make sure our warehouse is kept clean, and tidy and we’re compliant from a Health and Safety perspective. Meaning the environment, you work in is nicer than the average warehouse, and somewhere pleasant to work.
Without dedicated employees, it would be impossible for us to continue to grow and lead the market with innovations.
Full-Time (08.30-16.30 Monday-Thursday / 08.30-15.15 Friday) + OT to suit business needs
So… if you want the opportunity to learn new skills, have plenty of opportunity to work overtime, work hard but in a team where working feels less like work. WAGO is the place for you!
What’s in it for you?
Remuneration: £11.00/ph rising to £11.80/ph after successful probationary period, annual discretionary bonuses to all employees and 10% pension contribution from WAGO.
Opportunities: to complete industry recognised training, and progress or diversify your role within the organisation (not only in the Warehouse, but in all sorts of roles!)
