About the role
The position will sit within our Warehouse team, with a working pattern of Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and accurate movement of goods and products within Scott Bader, adhering to all Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the efficient running of the Warehouse and ensure the safety of colleagues and visitors at all times through compliance with all applicable HSE legislation and company operating procedures, including Safe Systems of Work and Mobility Work Instructions.
Responsible for receiving and inspecting of deliveries, following safe unloading procedures at all times.
Ensuring incoming materials and products are stored, stacked and distributed according to company procedures and as instructed by the Logistics Team Leader.
Prepare finished goods for packing and despatch.
Contribute to the management of stock levels by participating in stock taking activities.
Process all necessary documentation within the Warehouse and complete all relevant systems transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a high standard of Responsible Care and housekeeping consistent with all applicable Company and legislative requirements (e.g., COSHH, HSE, IPPC).
Represent the company and department by working effectively with internal and external colleagues and ensuring the provision of a consistently high service at all times.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally be comfortable with heavy lifting on occasion, be comfortable working at height, have experience of working within a logistics or warehouse environment, accompanied with a Forklift Counterbalance License (VNA would be highly desirable but not essential, as in house training can be provided). Experienced in managing deliveries and dispatch and the organising of materials to be transported across site. Happy to work to tight deadlines, under own initiative and is a team player.
Shifts Available
The Late Shift pattern is 4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday.
Salary & benefits: The salary for the position will be £21,255.00 + Shift Allowance of £3,878.40. In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus). Pension: We offer a generous contribution to your pension and dependant on your monthly commitment, we will contribute up to a maximum of 2x your contribution up to a maximum of 10%.
