Working at our clients warehouse in Aberdeen, Altens.
This position will commence ASAP ideally by 05/06/2023 is for 12 weeks temp work.
Candidates will be required to have previous experience in a similar role and hold a 3T counter-balance forklift certificate as you will be required to undertake forklift duties This certificate is essential and we cannot consider candidates who do not hold this certificate.
Due to location we can only consider personnel who reside close and can travel easily.
Your Tasks
- To assist in ensuring that all material movements are carried out in a cost effective and safe manner.
- Must assist in making the yard and warehouse an accident free zone.
- Be responsible for recording all equipment movements, and advising the team of any anomalies found, to assist in providing a quality service to our customers.
- To assist in ensuring that the tracking of all equipment is accounted for and accurate.
- Assist in the control of non-conformance reports connected to material logistics.
- Assist Accounts, if required, with any material invoice queries.
- Assist customs agent with customs queries
- To maintain a full knowledge of all IT programmes used specifically for material logistics control.
- Monitor UK Logistics incoming e-mails and advise Team Lead of anything urgent
- Assist in ensuring that all internal and external clients’ requirements are met.
- To maintain a quality service for both your external and internal customers.
- Assist in carrying out spot audits on the quality of the packing of load outs.
- Must be knowledgeable regarding various functions of other departments and shore based operations.
- Must ensure that all equipment requirement records are retained in a professional manner.
- Form part of the on call team for out of hours work
- Perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor.
