Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4on4off Days, 6,30AM To 18:30PM
Location: Derby, East Midlands Gateway

DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will
- Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
- be assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
- To carry out warehouse tasks within; goods-in, put away and receive goods, order picking, dispatch.
- Adherence to Quality Management Systems, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions and Safe Systems of Work
- Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.
pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
**PLEASE NOTE, IT IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT THAT YOU HOLD AT LEAST ONE OF THE MHE LICENCES HIGHLIGHTED IN BOLD BELOW**
- A valid Forklift Truck License
- A valid Counterbalance License
- Valid LLOP/PPT
- A valid Reach Truck License
We also require:
- Manual Handing Equipment (MHE) experience
- Experience working in a Warehouse environment
A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well received.
