Warehouse Operations Support – UPS SCS Dunstable
- Assist Team Leader/Supervisor in sortation to maintain high levels of productivity, housekeeping and health and safety.
- Keep track and regularly monitor any failed moves within the sortation and address areas of concern including, but not limited to, scanning errors, stacked dwell time and staged dwell time.
- Assist with auditing containers within the outbound staging lanes, including full checks and 6-point checks.
- Assist with auditing containers within the inbound area or received containers showing on vista.
- Fix any damages and issues with customers parcels ensuring all volume and individual unit within the facility are processed, repaired and ready to depart.
- Organizing and processing any items that are unfit for processing/forwarding due to damage, without label, mis-sorted etc. and readying for return to Amazon.
- Scanner and process training with new starters
- Handing out and receiving returned scanners at the beginning and end of shifts
- This list is not exhaustive. You will be required to complete any reasonable operational task requested by a Team Leader or Supervisor.

What you’ll do:
- Full Time – Fixed Term until September 2024
- 13:00pm – 21:00pm Monday – Friday
- Warehouse experience - Preferred
- Move and sort packages in a busy warehouse environment
- Work safely and accurately at speed, following instructions
- Double-check your work as you go
What you’ll need:
- Excellent communication skills, speed and accuracy
- A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude
- Initiative, an eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- The ability to accurately follow instructions
- Warehouse experience – Preferred
