About the role
FTE/Hours: Two posts: A total of 1.4 FTE is available; full and part time hours will be considered with the potential for job share between the successful candidates.
The Academic Quality and Development Directorate is a dynamic part of the University established to support course design, development and delivery, digital pedagogy, education research and evaluation, quality enhancement, student and graduate employability as well as a range of academic projects that enhance student engagement.
We are looking to appoint two Administrative Assistants to play a central role in supporting the smooth running and delivery of administrative tasks across AQD and be the first point of contact for staff. As such the expectation is that these roles will be based at the University’s Stoke-on-Trent campus for the majority of the time. Working closely with team members, you will manage diaries, schedule and organise events, maintain records, update AQD communications and information and provide administrative support for meetings. You will also be responsible for booking travel and accommodation, making purchases, and keeping financial records up to date.
You will have recent experience of providing administrative support to a diverse team with excellent IT, team working and communication skills. You will be experienced in producing documentation including minutes of meetings, using your initiative and excellent organisation skills to manage a varied workload. An excellent eye for detail and experience of managing information is essential.
