The role:
We are looking to recruit a Export and Warehouse Administratorto help operate the warehouse in terms of managing physical stock at the premises and deliveries outwards to customers (processing and packaging orders).
This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Order processing and tracking
- Assisting the warehouse with order administration
- Amending and updating orders
- Filing of Documentation
· Completion of general administrational tasks as instructed
· We would expect that the job holder will expect to become involved in a range of work to respond effectively to the needs of a small business.
· Reviewing stocks daily to create packlist for export shipments
· Applying for export documentation to support customs clearance
· Liaising with Freight company and international customers to book shipments
What you’ll need:
- 2 years previous general administration experience
- Competent IT Skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to use own initiative
· A willingness and aptitude to learn is the most important thing
The role will suit someone naturally outgoing with interpersonal skills given that this person will need to work as part of a tight knit team and will deal with a range of different customer requirements. The successful candidate will also require good written and organisational skills. In terms of specific technical skills a willingness and aptitude to learn is the most important thing
Initially direct one to one training will be provided within the warehouse role.
