Job description
Turbine Repair Technologies Ltd (TRT Ltd) is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce Plc and Chromalloy, focused on the repair of gas turbine blades and vanes for aerospace and energy applications. It has specialisms in various coatings required to protect components from extreme heat during operations in addition to some more conventional repair techniques. TRT is beginning to use more advanced technologies in its repair processes such as robotics, adaptive machining and laser deposition.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Administrator to join the team. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be able to work to short deadlines. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft 365 packages, have excellent word processing skills and be competent in the use of spreadsheets. You must be able to compile statistics and provide information to the leadership team, sometimes at short notice.
JOB TITLE: Business Administrator
PURPOSE: To provide a range of administration and secretarial duties to departments across the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing office support including customer and employee support
- Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
- Maintain a range of different departmental logs and registers e.g. IP registers and expenses.
- Travel booking and diary management including organising executive itineraries including travel and corporate events.
- Administration of company vehicle documents and insurance.
- Thorough and accurate minute taking of essential meetings, including quarterly board meetings
- Manage and maintain all visitor screening.
- Scheduling of meetings and appointments within the company and the arrangement of refreshments and other corporate catering.
- Document and archive management.
- General office administration duties.
- To understand and work to TRT guidelines and observe all TRT policies.
- Any other duties that may be required by the Company.
ESSENTIAL:
- Previous admin experience essential.
- Exceptional reception and telephone manner.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Numerate and literate with good computer skills including experience of Microsoft packages.
- Effective and successful teamworking skills.
- Effective and efficient time management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday inclusive.
