Job description
Active Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for our clients based in Leicester.
We are looking for a strong character who can take charge of the day to day responsibilities of running a food based warehouse.
A high level of knowledge is required to organise and keep the flow of goods in and out.
You will be meticulous around the activity within your area, paying attention to standards, security of the yard, accuracy of all paperwork. You will need to have an element of computer literacy.
Health and Safety checks will need to be carried out on a daily basis ensuring all equipment is safe to use and recorded. All non compliant equipment must be logged and escalated for repair.
You will need to be confident to ensure the warehouse is kept organised at all times. Your vision will need to be communicated to all accessing and using alongside of you hence a strong character will be beneficial for this role.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and you will be required to additional on Saturdays when required.
