The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes. The post holder provides comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of the School’s online-based MBA programme. In addition, the post holder will support the School’s wider teaching and learning activities, working closely with the Teaching and Learning Manager as well as the Programme Director for the UCL MBA. The role will specialise in administering the UCL MBA, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects including enquiries, applications, marketing, engagement of external contacts, assessments, student experience, student support, graduation and events. The post will lead in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, alumni and staff relating to the designated programme and beyond. This role will be responsible for line managing a Teaching and Learning Administrator dedicated to supporting the UCL MBA, with the potential to expand the team as the programme grows. The role holder will at times be asked to support programmes on and off campus (may necessitate UK and international travel) and these may run over weekends or during university breaks. On occasion, the team will be responsible for programme support after normal working hours as our programme students are mostly working professionals and may need to have contact with staff outside of traditional UK office hours. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and ‘can do’ approach are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.

The role holder will be familiarity with supporting executive/adult learners either in another MBA programme or comparable executive education environments and the ability to communicate with an executive student population.
