We are looking for someone passionate about social media and building communities to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and developing our online community and social media channels to grow our social media channels and engage our prospective and current customers.
Our work is solely focused on anxiety in young people which as a sensitive topic requires a thoughtful approach. This role would best suit an individual who understands the struggles of children and young people with anxiety. The role is new to the business and will require passion and creative thinking to rapidly grow our social media channels and establish our online community. The role will be supported by our team of incredible creatives, a Digital Marketing manager, CTO and Project Manager (Industrial design and technology).
As it is a new role, it is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to help shape the future of Anxend.
We are experiencing rapid growth and our social channels require attention to grow our audience and increase engagement to support the business's growth.
Our target audience is split between parents and children/young people aged 10 to 18, requiring different approaches and content ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media channels and content.
- Grow our social media following.
- Build and maintain our online community.
- Respond to comments and messages on social.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Research and find conversations, topics, stories, trends, etc that Anxend can take part in
- Use social media management tools.
- Work with the creative and marketing team to produce engaging content.
- Measure the performance of social media channels and make recommendations on best platforms.
- Monitor, track and respond to online reviews.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping families cope with anxiety.
- Adaptability and willingness to make fast changes, such as adopting new platforms or dropping ones that don’t offer good returns.
- Enthusiastic about social media and building communities.
- Open-minded and creative thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to haves:
- Personal experience of anxiety or mental health.
- Image, video and audio editing skills.
- Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency.
- Experience managing social accounts and online communities.
