Warehouse Assistant

Do you have a current FLT certificate and enjoy dealing with people to ensure a top-quality service is offered to customers? Are you organised and efficient with completing paperwork and using Microsoft Office packages? Then we want to hear from you.

The Role

You will deliver reliable and consistent support to the Warehouse Manager and colleagues as required in the warehouse, office and factory. Capable of working alone or as part of a team, you have effective organisational and communication skills.

You will be the first point of contact for drivers and deliveries, which means a professional and friendly manner is essential. You must have a counterbalance FLT licence and be confident using a forklift in a busy factory and yard area.

Duties will include picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles, goods in and general yard duties, including maintaining a safe working environment.

Skills Required:

· Friendly and helpful personality.

· High level of accuracy with attention to detail.

· Numerate and literate.

· Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.

· Knowledge and awareness of health and safety regulations.

· Willing to learn.
