What You Can Expect
As part of our Data Science team, your summer placement will support in our mission to build data and AI-driven products that help improve the quality of life for people around the world. Alongside this, your support developing tools to enable the innovation and maintenance of our products will be integral.
This opportunity is a Summer Internship open to undergraduates with a passion for Data Science to work remotely with occasional travel to London.
How You Create Impact
Within the internship you will be able to gain invaluable experience working closely with our highly skilled team whilst you:
- Test new data or product hypotheses by creating analyses in Jupyter notebooks, with visualizations to help communicate findings.
- Create reports and document findings so that they can be valuable to the team.
- Make improvements to product and infrastructure code.
- Help us to improve the monitoring of our products and data.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Demonstrable knowledge of using Python programming
- The ability to communicate technical concepts.
- An interest in solving healthcare challenges.
- The appetite to learn about writing code and solving problems in an industry setting.
What Will Make You Successful
You will either be:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a subject related to health data science, such as: computer science, mathematics, physics, biomedical engineering, statistics.
OR
- Taking part in a programme of learning in Data Science, with significant hands-on experience in working on data science problems.
