About the Role…. The successful candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team and have a flexible approach whilst having the ability to work in a busy and demanding environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will also need to be educated to GCSE level and have recent experience of working as a receptionist in a healthcare setting. Knowledge and the ability to use the Medway IT system is essential. The post requires that the candidate will be able to undertake shift work to include long days, night shifts and weekend hours to meet the needs of our service and will involve covering both the Maternity and Labour Wards.The candidate will also be expected to work some bank/public holidays.
What we’re looking for…..
We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic ward clerk/receptionist to join our busy Maternity and Labour Ward teams. The successful candidate will be part of the multidisciplinary team based within the Maternity unit. The successful candidate will be fully computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft systems. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of our existing team using their own initiative to provide a range of receptionist/clerking duties as detailed in the job description.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
