Waiting Staff Luss, Scotland

Loch Lomond Arms Hotel
Full Time Luss, Scotland 10.9 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

We are looking to employ full-time team members; however seasonal and part-time applications will be considered. Seasonal/Part-time and occasional may suit College/University students.

An hourly rate of £10.90, as well as an equal share of the service charge.

Who we are -

The Loch Lomond Arms opened its doors in 2012 after an extensive renovation to restore it to its former glory as a luxurious 17th century coaching inn. The hotel sits at the entrance to the beautiful Scottish Highlands, yet is easily accessed from Glasgow and Edinburgh. It is this balance that gives us our unique position as a luxurious hotel, bar and restaurant accessible to many, but enjoyed by the lucky few.

This is not your usual waiter/waitress position - as well as our award-winning restaurant and hotel, you will be a key part in assisting in our multi award-winning events team. We host over 40 weddings per year either in our bespoke function suite or on our own island on Loch Lomond! There are many opportunities for our team to get out and about on our estate - whether that be by boat for an island wedding or by 4x4 to help in running a hilltop barbeque overlooking Loch Lomond.

Who we want -
Previous experience working in hospitality/customer service is preferable though not necessary.
Share our passion for top quality food and drinks with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with our guests.
Strong teamwork skills.
A keen eye for detail and cleanliness.

Charismatic, confident, and willing to learn.

Due to our location and our operating times - having own transport would be advantageous.

Main duties and responsibilities -

Greeting and seating customers.

Taking orders for food and drink.

Serving food and alcohol.

Cleaning and resetting tables.

Answering phone calls.

Wedding and banquet service, setup, and clear down.

Cash handling.

Your benefits -

Working on average 40hrs per week you will additionally earn an extra £300+ paid per month in gratuities.

28 days holiday (pro rata).

Full training provided.

Meal provided during your shift.

Staff and family discounts of 40% off food and drink at all our outlets.
