We are looking for a VP of Engineering with a specialism in infrastructure to join a global FinTech organisation currently expanding in to the UK.

As VP of Engineering (Infrastructure) you will be focused on creating and implementing the roadmap within your department and building your team to maximise their performance.
Role and responsibilities:
Within the role you will have responsibility for growing and leading your team here in the UK whilst liaising with global teams. You will be creating and designing the strategy, vision and roadmap required to drive performance and meet the needs of the business whilst working alongside your counterparts in other teams to deliver the overall business objectives. It is vital for this position that you are happy to work hands-on, getting stuck in with the team and leading from the front.

This opportunity will be based out of the companies new office based in Reading, ideally working on a hybrid basis (once per week). Depending on experience the salary on offer is between £100,000-£130,000 with a competitive bonus scheme also available. Skills Required:
- 15 years experience specialising in Infrastructure
- 5+ years building and leading a team of engineers
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker and Terraform.
- Currently/most recently working in a hands-on role.
- Previous experience with languages including Perl and JavaScript (Node.JS)
- Experience working with teams on a global level.
