What is a Volunteer Fundraising Driver/Drivers mate?
Take to the roads and play a vital part in a Derian House's mission to fundraise - by helping us to make sure our collection tins go to the right place - or back to the hospice.
Once a fortnight, you will drive to businesses and community groups across the North West to collect or drop off our tins – meeting plenty of new faces along the way.
As a volunteer, you will become a crucial part of the Derian family – helping to support the important work we do every day.

What's involved?
- Work with the Fundraising Team to create an efficient route to local businesses or community groups where they need fundraising tins collected or delivered.
- Be professional – represent Derian House in all that you do.
- Have an awareness of the services that Derian House offers to children, young people and their families so you’ll be able to answer any questions customers may ask.
This role will suit people who are.........are friendly and helpful, have good customer service skills, a positive can do attitude and enjoy working on their own initiative or as part of team. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have been driving for a minimum of two years. We really value honesty, integrity and reliability in our volunteers and staff – and in return we will do our best to provide you with a rewarding volunteer experience.
Time Commitment:
Once a fortnight, times/days to be agreed at interview
Training Requirements:
Full site induction & mandatory annual training will be provided
Expenses:
Lunch allowance for shifts 6.5hrs plus
