Our Vocational Rehabilitation team at Unum is growing and are looking for a number of consultants to join the team. As a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant you’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of referrals from both our customers and claims assessors to support employees in returning to the work place after a period of ill-health or injury.

You’ll use your brilliant interview and questioning techniques to draw out information, and use your clinical reasoning ability to develop comprehensive reports and return to work plans for individuals, and you’ll have excellent time management skills, experience in caseload management and turnover of cases leading to successful outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will come from a similar background, and have a professional or workplace qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing or sports rehab, or perhaps you have recently graduated with a relevant degree.

If successful, you will be provided with comprehensive training for up to three months and will be supported by 2 mentors to get you upto speed – we also support with biannual CPD days, regular clinical supervision and peer review.

Remote workers will be considered by location and are required to attend office days for CPD/Training and quarterly team meetings.
