Bristol Zoological Society, the conservation and education charity that runs and operates Bristol Zoo Project, higher education programmes and conservation projects across the world, is recruiting a Visitor Experience Administrator. As an Administrator in the Visitor Experience team, you’ll be responsible for:
- The effective operation and administration of membership and office areas, including the accurate processing of memberships, direct debits, education and groups bookings, experience bookings, animal adoptions, event tickets and processing incoming and outgoing post.
- Supporting the operation of a busy switchboard, answering enquiries via telephone, email and social media promptly and professionally.
- Delivering outstanding visitor experiences, ensuring all visitors enjoy a fun and memorable experience.
- Managing a varied and busy workload.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, hardworking and flexible individual, passionate about delivering world class customer service, placing visitors at the heart of how we think and what we do, ensuring personal interaction is second to none.
With a new strategy in place to create a world-class Bristol Zoo and conservation and sustainability at its heart, the new Bristol Zoo Project will offer spacious, modern facilities, significant growth in our conservation and education work, and an innovative and exciting visitor experience.
The role will help to realise our vision of saving wildlife together, and you will be involved in supporting our transformation programme – driving visitor numbers at Bristol Zoo Project and excitement as plans for the new Zoo progress.
