Job Location: Burley Orchard – Chertsey AND Elizabeth Court, Weybridge

Hours: 21 hours per week (6 hours in Burley Orchard and 15 hours in Elizabeth Court)

Grange Property Management are looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our properties at Burley Orchard – Chertsey and Elizabeth Court, Weybridge. With a ‘can do’ attitude you’ll prioritise and manage your own workload independently.

This is a varied and customer facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence. Lone working you’ll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team along with a Training and Support Assistant.

Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you’ll have a general understanding of building maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property. You’ll also manage contractors including weekly cleaning, gardening and bi monthly window cleaning.

You’ll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients.

As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold enquires or property alterations you’ll be able to empathise with the resident age group which is typically 60 plus. You’ll carry out regular compliance and health and safety checks and manage insurance claims following appropriate policies and procedures.

As a lone worker you’ll be resilient and self-motivated as well as an excellent team player able to reach out and engage with the wider team.

A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Managers role, you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.

Information on schemes:

Elizabeth Court has 19 properties, a communal secure car park and gardens, A guest room, Bin store, Laundry room, communal toilet, lift, Managers office and communal corridors. Elizabeth Court will be the primary location of working with 15 hours a week at the scheme, historically this has been 3 hours each day in the mornings.

Burley Orchard has 23 properties, 4 being within the main ‘Manor House’, It has a communal car park and grounds, the office space is within a secure structure within the grounds. Burley Orchard is covered by 6 hours a week over two or three days.

Burley Orchard will be covered after finishing allocated hours at Elizabeth Court, historically 12pm - 3pm two days a week.

Timings and days are somewhat negotiable.
