With over 45 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms.
As the Marketing Assistant, you will be supporting the Marketing Department helping to pull together internal and external newsletters, so you will need to have creative writing flare and the ability to work with the wider team to request information. The role will be varied, and you’ll be asked to support the team in all aspects of marketing.
The ideal applicant for this exciting and varied role will be highly motivated and organised, with a real desire to take on new tasks. They will work well as part of the Marketing Team and be able to work time efficiently within tight deadlines, whilst adapting their work to suit each of the company’s brands.
Responsibilities
- Creation of external e-newsletters, such as the (bi)weekly Manufacturing Update, Quantum Quarterly wholesale newsletter, updates on prices, products, reminders, delivery charges (training will be given)
- Creation of internal e-newsletters, such as Quarterly staff newsletter, monthly starters and leavers (training will be given)
- ‘Grub Hut’ canteen staff presentation Slide Deck
- Assisting with event planning and execution
- Research for the department and company, for example as part of a wider Account Based Marketing campaign (training will be given)
- Postal mailshots, working with the content creator and the wider team on the delivery of postal campaigns.
- Email mailshots, working with the content creator and the wider team on the delivery of bulk emails.
- Printing and binding of in-house manuals and brochures
- Process guarantee registrations for Quantum, EKS and Hinged
- Onboard new staff/wholesale customers/designers.
- Remove the ‘leavers’ from all digital platforms
- Monitoring stock levels of sponsorship branded stock and Quarterly Stocktake, working with the Samples Co-ordinator to ensure all stock is accounted for
- Other admin tasks as necessary
Requirements
- Excellent creative writing skills. Essential.
- Proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Essential.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous use of Mailchimp/Campaign Monitor and Asana is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills
- IT Literate – understanding of word, outlook, excel, teams essential.
- Be able to use initiative and prioritise
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team.

Reporting To: Marketing Manager
Salary: £21,000 pro rated for 20 hours
Hours of work: Part time - 20 hours per week (ideally over 5 days)
