VectorBuilder seeks a marketing assistant to support the marketing team in building the company’s online community, increasing brand awareness, and generating engaging content that generates conversions and leads.

This role will be given training and the ability to learn new skills and develop as a marketing professional. Quick advancement and career growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing the company social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Support analysis of reach and engagement data to develop recommendations for ongoing improvement in marketing strategy, including use of Google Ads, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company site, and encourages audience participation
  • Assist marketing management with large projects, events, and community management
  • Work with marketing team to develop longer term social media campaigns
  • Assist in the proposal of marketing strategies and social media campaigns
  • Other projects when needed

Qualifications:

  • BS or higher degree in biology, genetics, or related major field (preferred)
  • Marketing or social media marketing experience (1-2 years) or marketing degree
  • Graphic design experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Penicuik, EH26 0PH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
