Range reflects certification status.
Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and according to established procedure, performs routine service duties and basic patient/resident care procedures necessary to provide comfort and safety of patients. In doing so, takes vital signs, assists patients with personal hygiene and feeds and ambulates patients/residents. Maintains patient/resident environment in a clean and orderly condition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred; required if assigned to the TCU.
- Current CPR certification required (American Heart Association only)
- One year experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
- MAB certificate required within 6-months of hire.
