The Credentialing Systems Specialist is responsible for assisting the Credentialing Project Manager with the execution of various projects in relation to the credentialing activities across multiple divisions of Epic Staffing Group Inc. (ESGI). The Credentialing Systems Specialist will perform a variety of tasks related to documentation, organization, and communication to ensure that all assigned credentialing projects are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) across all Strategic Business Units.
  • Participate in the preparation and training of the ATS per SBU
  • Assist with the maintenance of the ATS after it has been rolled out to each SBU.
  • Monitor project plans and schedules; track individuals’ tasks and follow-up, as needed.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all credentialing related systems and platforms to ensure they are working properly for all departments.
  • Assist with communicating the overall project status, monitoring and control, including project change, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, and risks.
  • Exemplify the ESGI core values, desired culture, and philosophies of the organization.
  • Assist with creating project presentations and training modules.
  • Request and review project updates to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist project leads in tracking and identifying potential risks and escalating to management, as needed.
  • Administer project management software platform and ensure data quality, timeliness and accuracy is maintained.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two years of credentialing experience within a healthcare setting including experience working within several Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally, SalesForce, eRecruit, or Target Recruit).
  • One year of experience in health information management, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of TJC, Federal and State Healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, preferred.

  • Interpersonal skills including time and project management, negotiation, collaboration, problem resolution and customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Organization and written/verbal interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change and effectively prioritize competing duties.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to create and provide effective presentations.
  • Ability to innovatively and creatively problem solve.

Salary: $65,000 - $72,000
