Were looking for a meticulous, organised and passionate people person who has a strong interest in Employment Relations to join our fantastic Human Resources team.
As a HR Advisor you'll be a key player in the implementation of our HR strategy. As such you will be responsible for the delivery of the following two objectives:
- Provide day to day guidance on Employment Relations matters to support the ongoing growth of the business.
- To work on specialist projects like Investigations, Sickness Absence and Performance Management to help our services make the most of their workforce.
To facilitate delivery of these objectives, you will be:
- First point of contact for day to day HR enquiries
- Provide support and guidance to managers on day to day employment relations matters
- Undertake investigations as required and prepare investigation reports to submit for disciplinary/capability hearings
- Maintain oversight of sickness levels across the Company and support line manager to follow the Sickness Absence policy
- Support line manager with the performance management process
- Assisting with updating and reviewing policies and procedures
- Managing and updating relevant HR systems
- Minute taking at Disciplinary and Capability Hearings
- Maintain digital copies of employees' records (e.g. Induction record,
- Probations, up to date Right to Work) Contribute to short term and long term HR business planning strategies
- Managing the full employee lifecycle for our people
- Compile quarterly HR reports for submission to Corporate Governance meetings
- Updating the HR System with accurate information
- Ad hoc duties as required
About you
- CIPD minimum level 5 qualification
- Strong experience within a HR environment
- Experience of HR systems/Databases
- Strong MS Office experience including excel formulae and mail merge
- Experience working with confidential matters
- Experience in data gathering, reporting and performing analysis on people data
- Ability to work well under pressure to tight time deadlines
- Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
