Wright’s Prints & Design are currently seeking an experienced Vinyl/Sign Fitter to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the industry and be familiar with fitting a variety of Signage.
As a front facing role the Fitter will be responsible for providing a first-class professional service to all clients.
You are a flexible worker with a high attention to detail and an ability to problem solve on the job. You put safety first and are familiar with making a dynamic on-site risk assessment. With outstanding customer service, you have a proven track record of meeting customer deadlines and specifications.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Carrying Out Site Assessments
· Following guidelines, carry out and document site assessments including measuring up for signage, vinyl application onto walls, floors, windows, and doors as well as measuring up vehicles for graphics and wraps.
Sign Manufacture and Installation
· Sign making working with a wide range of substrates including di-bond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and foamex, to a consistently high standard.
· Applying graphics to a variety of substrates including panels, fascia’s, windows, and vehicles.
· Installation of all types of internal and external signage including fascia and post mounted signs using power tools and access equipment.
· Able to work with LED’s, Neon’s, and basic electrical skills (Not Essential).
· Able to uphold safe methods of working throughout the production and installation process.
· Working at heights (without the aid of mechanical assistance)
· Always provide outstanding customer service to our clients and others.
Administration
· Documenting, filing, and submitting all paperwork relevant to a job.
Customer relationship management
· Dealing with customers about all aspects of an on-site job by phone, by email and in person when required
Deliveries and uplifts
· As required.
MSI / CRM System use:
· Following guidelines, keeping the CRM system upto date with every stage of a job through quoting, design to production.
Health & Safety:
· Ensuring that all work areas are kept in line with Health & Safety regulations and that Health & Safety policy is always adhered to.
· Ensuring that Driving Policy is always adhered to.
· Following any on site Health & Safety regulations as specified by the client.
ISO
· Adhering to all policies and procedures as set out in line with the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
Scope indicators / external & internal customers:
· Clients – in person; by email; by phone.
· Production Managers – Digital print; Large Format.
· In-house Design Team.
· Finance Team.
· Sales Manager.
· Directors.
· Suppliers.
Education and experience:
· Minimum two-year experience working in an installation and fitting environment.
· Applicable Health & Safety qualifications.
· Desirable: PASMA, CSCS and IPAF Cards.
Key competencies:
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Good organisation and time management skills and a responsible attitude.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
