Position: VP of Sales and Operations-Lodestar
Location: Remote
Reports to: President
Principal Purpose of Position:
The VP of Operations and Sales will focus on the Growth by managing a sales team and overseeing all customers in the companies portfolio. This experienced Manager must be a key contributor within the leadership team and must have a proven track record of success. This upper management operations professional will also oversee many of a business's daily activities, directing and coordinating actions across an organization. The VP of Sales and OPS will also oversee the various departments in the business and can locate areas for improvement. Position needs to be able to frequent the New Mexico Office for team management and strategic oversight.

The Daily:
  • Acquire new clients and forge new partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with current clients.
  • Reply quickly to all incoming leads and client requests for information
    Manage leads and follow up through daily CRM use to update and stay on task until deals are closed.
  • Gain trust with prospects to overcome objections and facilitate a signed contract.
  • Use market trends, data research, and outreach to assess market viability.
  • Variety of activities - Multiple projects occurring simultaneously - Multi-tasking - Sense of urgency for goal achievement - Fast-paced environment
  • The job requires a high degree of “selling” products or services in the marketplace.
  • The job environment is fast-paced and results-oriented.
  • The position requires travel throughout the United States for sales and specifically to the New Mexico home office for operations management to ensure collaboration and execution of goal planning.
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Work with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Work closely with human resources to lead teams with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Must be driven and passionate about selling and be goal oriented.
  • 10 or more years of either retail F and I and automotive aftermarket sales, or reinsurance experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent team management and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to motivate others and engage in their commitment.
  • Persuasive “selling” style, must be a hunter!!
  • Strong commitment to results and process driven.
