Location: Antrim
Salary: £20,140 per annum + bonus + benefits
The post holder will be employed directly by the organisation and considered for all/ any permanent opportunities.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm. 45 mins Lunch
Duration: 9-12 months. Should a permanent Customer Services Assistant vacancy arise during the course of the contract, the successful candidate will be offered the position on a permanent basis subject to pre-specified conditions.
Due to growth and development opportunities within this organisation, our Client is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to joint their team based in Antrim. This will initially be for between 9 and 12 months however the successful post holder will be first selection for any suitable permanent roles going forward. The organisation has a family-feel business and offers excellent remuneration and benefits packages, together with comprehensive training and development programmes.
The Customer Services Assistant will be the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, stakeholders and incoming calls. They play a key role in processing customer enquiries and providing administrative support within the Customer Services Team.
Duties
- Answer incoming calls demonstrating excellent customer service, advising or redirecting as appropriate
- Administration of customer queries via email or online
- Handle and resolve customer complaints in line with the company values
- Take ownership of customer requests, aim to provide 1st call resolution
- Develop strong relationships with other departments
- Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Customer Services Manager

Criteria
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (grade C or above)
- Previous experience in customer services role, e.g. call handling (retail and leisure considered)
- Excellent IT, communication and people skills
- Ability to process large volumes of information quickly and accurately
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
