The Role
We are looking for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Alexander Vets. The successful candidate would be confident to run nurse clinics, monitor anaesthetics and happy to help with the daily running of the practice.Our people are at the heart of everything we do, that's why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. The working hours are flexible over a 4-day week plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
Salary for the role is up to £29,000 depending on experience. We also offer a £5,000 welcome bonus and £3,000 relocation allowance.
About Us
Alexander Vets are based on the outskirts of the Lake District, we are close to some of the most scenic views the country has to offer. If you love the great outdoors, this is a great location for water sports, hiking and adventure sports. We are a well-established and popular small animal practice who work to the highest standards. We recently benefited from a full practice refurbishment, so we are very modern and well-equipped. Our practice boasts x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy and in house blood facilities. We have a loyal client base which helps us provide detailed work ups too!About the Team and Culture
Currently, we have a team of 2 vets with a wealth of clinical experience, so there's a great support network in place with lots of opportunities to learn. Working alongside our vets we also have 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, Kennel Assistant and a receptionist.Applicant Requirements
