Job description
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the practice near Warwick.
This is a Full-Time or Part-Time permanent position working up to 40 hours per week, with 1 in 6 weekends.
You will be working alongside a supportive RVN and have access to a fully equipped Hospital including digital x-ray, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, multiparameter monitor and orthopaedic equipment. Other facilities include 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse or final year Student Veterinary Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
Salary and benefits:
Starting salary £30,000 pa
CPD allowance £750 and 2-days CPD leave per annum and in-house CPD available
