FULL TIME VAN DRIVER/STORE ASSISTANT

• 40 plus hours per week
• Monday-Saturday 7.30.am-5.30pm
• 5 days over 6
• Weekly pay
• Full time permanent role

We are looking to for a full time shop worker/driver to join our team as we grow our business. We are looking to fill the role quickly so please only apply if you are able to attend an interview and start within 7 days of applying.

We are a family run business and established over 60 years. We trade over 3 sites and deliver to customers that order though our website, and catering businesses we supply.

Our ideal candidate will be/have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Have a full UK drivers license
• Previous experience working in a retail environment
• Regular and reliable
• Able to work to deadlines and targets
• Provide excellent customer service
• Physically fit as role involves manual handling
• A quick learner
• Able to work alone and part of a team
• Clean and presentable

Duties include:

• Delivering to customers homes and businesses
• Picking up stock from wholesalers
• Loading and unloading stock
• Making up orders
• Ensure that the vans are clean, tidy and presentable
• Completing all relevant paperwork related to the role

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £540.00 per week

• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Uk drivers licence longer than 5 years (required)
