As Northern Irelands leading wholesaler, we offer the most comprehensive range in the market with over 10,000 lines including impulse, alcohol, grocery, and chill freeze. We are committed to helping local businesses succeed with our dedicated customer service team.
Our Belfast marketplace team is growing, we are looking for dedicated and driven individuals to help us continue our success in winning the EIQA award (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) Belfast only. We have the following exciting opportunities available:
The Role
- Deliveries local area involving adhoc Cash and Carry deliveries
- All relevant paperwork to be complete in an accurate and timely manner
- On return to depot any returns/damages to be reported
- Health & Safety and HACCP regulations to be complied with
- Vehicles to be maintained in a roadworthy condition with any defects being reported to the supervisor daily
- To provide an effective, efficient, and flexible service to all suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike, through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse, including order assembly, administration and checking
- Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of paperwork
- To ensure incoming and outgoing loads with regards to efficiency, safety, and legal requirements
- The General Assistant part of the role will primarily involve customer service, cash handling & checkout operations, merchandising and general housekeeping duties
Hours of work
38 hours per week

Experience, Skills & Education
Essential:
- This person will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
- Full, clean license
- Good geographical knowledge of NI
- Good product knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Full flexibility to work weekends as and when required
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a food environment
