We are looking for a Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and timely manner, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed correctly, and maintaining the van in good condition. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to follow directions and adhere to safety regulations. The driver will leave Bradford at 7pm to go to London where you will be required to make collections in the London veg market and around Southall and bring the goods back to Bradford by 5am.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety protocols when operating a vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized van.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including times, distances, and destinations.
- Load and unload cargo from the van.
- Inspect the van before each trip to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow directions and maps to reach destinations.
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure efficient delivery routes.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
Salary: £100.00 per day
