We are an 11 bedroom country house hotel in the heart of the Lake District and a fantastic opportunity has risen to join our small but dedicated team in this beautiful part of Cumbria. We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our small team at Sawrey House Hotel. The successful candidate will show a commitment to high standards and attention to detail as well as being able to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team. This is a hands on role that requires a flexible approach and a positive attitude and good health. Experience in a similar role in a small hotel is required.
Main Duties:
- Waiting On for Breakfast and/or Evening Dinner Service.
- Serving Guest from the Hotel Bar.
- Checking In and Out of Guests.
- Telephone Answering.
- Ensuring all areas remain clean, tidy and organised.
- Some Housekeeping duties.
This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work in one of the most picturesque places in the UK in a small and friendly team with possibility of progression for the right candidate.
