Location - Cardiff

Anzuk Education is seeking a motivated and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils who require additional learning support. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to pupils with a range of learning difficulties. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning needs
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of each pupil
  • Help to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Support the classroom teacher in maintaining accurate records of pupil progress
  • Attend training and meetings as required

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with additional learning needs is desirable but not essential
  • MUST HAVE Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
  • MUST HAVE EWC registration
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Overseas Police Check if lives overseas for 12 months of more in the last 10 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and compassionate approach to working with children
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
