We currently have an opportunity for a Accounting/Office assistant to join our team in a fast paced environment. No previous warehouse/logistics experience is required, but is desirable.
The ideal candidate needs to be be able to work at a fast pace and ensure high standards to keep the warehouse running smoothly under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Good attention to detail and effective time management are essential for ensuring orders are shipped in an accurate and timely manner. It is desirable, but not essential, that candidates have an interest in craft products or activities.
The Accounting/Office Assistant will assist the Warehouse Manager with the following responsibilities:
- Handling Basic Book Keeping into Accounting Systems (Xero)
- Creating Sales Invoices and Recording purchase invoices
- Monitoring and reconciling the pay-in and pay-out
- Ordering the stationaries for office and warehouse
- Manage the time sheet ( once a month)
- Handling the accounting agent requests for monthly and quarterly accounting documents
- Credit control
- Be responsible for the tidiness and organisation of the office
Required skills/experience:
- Accounting experience is desirable
- Computer literate
- Proactive with effective time-keeping
- Confident communicator - able to lead a team
- Accounting software Knowledge, such as XERO
Hourly Rate: GBP11.00
8-12 working hours a week, and flexible working time, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
