Job description
Best Time Limited are you looking for HGV Drivers for our client based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGH JULY AND AUGUST 2023 AND BE WILLING TO WORK EVERY SATURDAY.
As an HGV multi-drop driver, you will ensure the timely, efficient, and accurate delivery of products to customers. Delivery drivers are the daily point of contact with customers, it is essential that their deliveries are accurate, and any shortages or errors are reported promptly, ensuring all paperwork is maintained correctly.
It goes without saying that you should have a full, clean UK driving license: (C or C+E) you will also have a smart appearance, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to customer care.
Key Accountabilities
· Understanding of WTD and hours management.
· Correctly sorting and delivery of orders on multidrop.
· Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.
· Adherence to loading and checking off procedures, Product scanning
· Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.
· Damages awareness and procedures.
· Understanding productivity and Driving standards, Microlise
· Importance of security.
· Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.
You will have previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Delivery Driver, LGV Driver or similar and have a willingness towards being flexible and supporting other team members as required.
Shifts: AM and PM available
LTD Drivers welcomed:
HGV Class1 Pay Monday to Friday - £19, Saturday - £25, Sunday - £30
HGV Class2 Pay Monday to Friday - £18, Saturday - £24, Sunday - £29
PAYE Drivers:
HGV Class1 Pay Monday to Friday - £17, Saturday - £23, Sunday - £28
HGV Class2 Pay Monday to Friday - £16, Saturday - £22, Sunday - £27
