Job description
Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £22,369 to £24,054 per annum (Grade E) | Norwich
We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to work as part of a team to deliver transport services for children needing to get to and from school and social care visits. This role is primarily focussed on children with special educational needs and disabilities therefore an understanding of SEND would be helpful, although not necessary.
You will be a good communicator and confident in talking to customers, transport operators and schools. You will also have a good working knowledge of IT systems and the ability use a database to manage customer and contract data. This is a very busy team so you will need to be flexible and able to manage your own workload, but this is also a very rewarding role for someone who wants to make a difference to children and families.
We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
