Are you an experienced Travel Sales Consultant with global destination knowledge? Do you have a passion for Adventure Travel? We’re seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable travel expert to join our team.

As a Travel Sales Consultant at Exodus, you should be well-versed at building relationships, rapport, and actively listening to the needs of your customers to find the perfect bucket-list adventure that suits them. You’ll be selling 350 expertly crafted itineraries, across 100 destinations, on all seven continents, so demonstrable destination knowledge and a clear passion for adventure travel will really set candidates apart.

Our experienced Sales Leaders offer extensive training, mentoring, performance coaching, and personal development plans to accelerate your development and progression within our global business. With expected OTE earnings of £40K annually, we’re offering a highly competitive package, with plenty of travel perks, built-in flexibility between remote & office-based working, and in a well-established and marketing-leading organisation.

What you will be doing:

  • Servicing inbound sales enquiries through any of our lead channels – phone, email, or live chat – as well as proactively contacting prospective customers
  • Balancing this with managing your existing sales pipeline effectively in order to close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Building rapport and establishing relationships with every client to grow a repeat client base
  • Delivering the highest standard of Customer Service - our motto is to go above & beyond
  • Fulfilling administration duties required to complete reservations, book flights, or request additional services from our ground teams
  • Use varied and creative sales techniques to convert bookings and drive results

What we are looking for:

  • Strong sales background with experience and success in a previous sales position, ideally from within the travel industry, although this is not a pre-requisite
  • The highest level of tenacity, curiosity, and a strong work ethic with a drive to self-develop skillsets
  • Excellent listening, storytelling, and communication skills, and the ability to use this to bring travel experiences to life
  • An ambitious individual who strives for excellence
  • Genuine passion for excellence in customer care
  • Good understanding of sales processes and skills within consulting
  • Knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo GDS system useful
  • Broad destination knowledge also useful
