This Medical Assistant, Full Time position is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties.
The Medical Assistant ensures proper functioning of this position by:
- Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Interviewing patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture and procedure as directed by the physician within the scope of practice in the State.
- Recording documentation in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline.
- Assist with daily admiistrative duties, including covering the front desk, answering multi-phone lines and making copies of documents as necessary.
- Accurately files patient charts; including scanning documents into files as necessary.
- Schedules patient appointments as necessary, return visits and Specialists.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required- Medical Assistant certificate requireD
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
- Fluent with medical terminology required
