Responsibilities
As a Transport Manager Apprentice, you’ll be working within the Kier Highways team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.
Your day to day will include:
- Providing first-class administrative services to the transport team
- Deal with vehicle defects, carry out inspections on site and support with vehicle checks
- Assisting the team in ordering new vehicles where necessary
- Working towards an HGV and transport management qualification
You will also study for a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification with support from our experienced teams – giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.

- Possess excellent customer service skills, and able to build and maintain strong relationships
- Can work collaboratively within a team
- Have experience in using various IT packages effectively
