About The Role
It’s challenging and fast-paced working as a Shift Leader! You’ll be part of a highly energised team who work hard and get the job done. Our stores are successful when we all work together to deliver a great experience for our customers, and our people make the difference.
What will I do as a Shift Leader?
- Open and close the store and ensure the store is safe and legal
- Provide outstanding, friendly and helpful service across all areas of the store, removing barriers and creating moments that matter for our customers
- Support and coach colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service and availability across the departments
- Supports colleagues to follow guidelines to stock effectively to maximise sales, minimise waste
Flexibility is really important to us as you will need to be able to work some evenings and weekends.

About You
What do I need to be a successful Shift Leader?
- Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems
- Ability to effectively coordinate colleagues, delegating and re-deploying where required
- Ability to use a range of equipment around the store that is required for your role
- Ability to complete a mixture of physical activities (e.g., standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stretching)
- Strong communication skills
